The Carlson School of Management and its instructors recognize the central role writing plays in communicating ideas effectively. Courses designated as Writing Intensive (WI) have a significant writing component. The examples below, organized by just some of the Writing Intensive courses offered at Carlson, show the range of writing assignments (across various formats and contexts) that CSOM students complete in their coursework.
